Multi-Storey Building Burgstraße

The listed building on the Burgstrße 4 in Wolgast was completely renovated between 2010 and 2011. Special care to conservate the architectual heritage was taken during the renovation plannig. Classic plaster materials and colors were used for the facade, as well as the roof renovation is done according to traditional building methods. Likewise, the technical requirements of today's construction were taken into account: all the windows, for example, have a triple thermal insulation glazing, and the current fire protection
requirements were compleatly fulfilled.

The ground plan was organized in five separate units, which co-exist in a living monument. The entire renovation was done in close consultation with the conservation authority and the rehabilitation officer of the city of Wolgast.
